Phat Buddha Designer Yogawear Sparkles and Shines among Bikram Yoga Clothing options
Phat Buddha Wear has a sparkly halter yoga top for you to wear to Bikram Yoga or hot yoga class. Need I say more?
This line of bikram yoga clothing is as bright and happy as it’s owner Alissa Benishai.
Alissa has everything Hot Yoga going on: she fell in love with bikram yoga, became an instructor, and now teaches “BY NY style.”
And who better to design our bikram yoga clothes for us than a actually practicing, actually teaching, hip NYC Bikram Yoga instructor?
Phat Yoga Wear is hot yoga clothes candy. I sat there drooling over the selection of tiny little one-size-fits-all lollipops of bikram yoga shorts and sparkly yoga tops.
Really, a little tiny purple sparkly halter top will keep this size 10 Mama of 3 breastfed babies in place?
Oh yeah it does. I actually felt kinda hot. And sparkly.
I bought one.
There was a sample of a new hot yoga top that will be coming out soon – in every color. It is thick and textured. I will let y’all know as soon as it’s out.
A huge plus: Fat Buddha (I’m spelling it that way once for the search engines) displayed a large number of design options for mens yoga clothes for bikram and hot yoga. For hot yoga shorts options, there were the tiny little speedo-like numbers (but not cheesy like speedo) as well as more coverage biking-like shorts as well as long, loose board shorts. I would love to take my husband into a store with that many bikram yoga shorts options for men!
So Where Can You Buy These Seamless and Soft Workout Clothes?
Bikram Yoga Studio Lobbies: Many studios have mini stores in the front, and many of those studio stores carry this brand.
In New York City: You can find Phat Buddha at Equinox, Pure Yoga, Exhale, and Bikram studios throughout New York.
Online: Check out these glitter yoga pants!
Also, the Phat Buddha Yoga website has been relaunched and you can now buy clothes directly from their site – halleluiah! (do you think Tracy Anderson buys Phat Buddha online, or do you think they deliver it to her?)
So here’s to well made, well priced, designer yoga wear. The fact that you feel like a kid in a cotton candy store as you shop is just bonus.
